A fascinating love story of Castilian King Alfonso and a beautiful Jewish girls Raquel based on old Spanish ballad from 13th century (The Jewess of Toledo). Emotive scenic choreography was created on ancient Spanish Christian songs (Cantigas de Santa Maria, 13th century) and the songs of Sephardim Jews. In the performance, the early medieval Romanesque costumes and stylized Sephardic costumes are presented here.
